Whirlow Hall Farm Trust is a unique educational charity which provides a variety of hands-on learning experience to children and young people, many from disadvantaged inner city backgrounds, as well as people with disabilties.
It is a fully-functioning working farm covering 138 acres with a variety of livestock and growing spaces and includes learning and training centre, farm shop, The Cruck Barn Café, and residential buildings.
The farm offers a guided farm tour, open to public on weekends and Bank Holidays and hosts fund raising events (e.g. Beer and Bangers comedy night) and weddings. The Cruck Barn Café serves high quality food using high-welfare meat, local,seasonal produce and the farm shop sells high quality local and home raised produce.
